The highly anticipated Apple event featuring the iPad Mini will start in hours of writing this. The Apple event will be taking place at California Theater in San Jose, Calif. at 10am Pacific Time. Not everyone was lucky enough to get a coveted invite to the event, fortunately Apple will be live streaming!
You can catch the Apple live stream here. However, read those system requirements closely. "Live streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on Mac OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later," are the system requirements according to the site.
Fortunately if you don't meet those requirements there are alternatives. Mashable will be live blogging from the Apple event. You can keep up with Mashable and join in the conversation here. Live blogging from Mashable will start at 9am PST.
If you'd like another live blogging perspective Gizmodo will also be liveblogging from the event. You can stay up to date with Gizmodo's coverage here. They will also be starting their coverage at 9am PST (noon est).
