On Saturday, December 10th, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) hosted the 3rdAnnual General Hospital Fan Build Day as part of its entertainment partnership program, Hollywood for Habitat for Humanity (HFHFH). Lexi joined in on the build for the third year in a row with cast mates such as Jason Thompson (Dr. Patrick Drake,) Lisa LoCicero (Olivia Falconeri,) Jane Elliot (Tracy Quartermaine,) Nancy Lee Grahn (Alexis Davis) and many more. Fans of General Hospital worked alongside cast members to build 3 Habitat homes in Los Angeles. General Hospital Fan Build Days originated in 2009 when Brandon Barash and Lisa LoCicero came up with the idea as a way to intact with loyal fans while becoming more involved with a worthwhile social cause.
Habitat for Humanity builds affordable, sustainable homes low income families who agree to pay back a zero-interest loan and volunteer up to 500 hours of “sweat equity” in the construction of the home. Habitat for Humanity built over 500,000 homes in 2011 alone.
