Today marks the release of Elvis and the Underdogs, a funny and heartwarming book authored by my friend (and Shake It Up writer/producer) Jenny Lee! It’s the story of a sweet, accident prone boy name Benji and his larger than life therapy dog Elvis.
I’m also very excited to be joining Jenny Lee this weekend for a book signing at Children’s Book World in Los Angeles. We’re going to have lots of fun at the event so if you’re in the area make sure you come meet us!
“Jenny Lee is a writer and producer on the Disney Channel show Shake It Up. She will be joined by two stars of the show, Caroline Sunshine and Adam Irigoyen. Jenny Lee’s children’s book, Elvis and the Underdogs, is the story of a sick boy, Benji, whose life is turned upside down when he gets a therapy dog, Elvis. To Benji’s surprise, Elvis is a two-hundred-pound talking dog. Elvis brings out the dog lover in everyone and shows Benji that making new friends may not be as scary as he once thought.”
