Kenton Duty is one of approximately 6 million kids in the U.S. who live with a potentially life-threatening medical condition. Having a food allergy means never letting your guard down —- taking precautions on a daily basis and making sure that your friends, teachers, coaches, and extended family members are part of a team that will help you avoid allergens that could trigger an anaphylactic reaction. It also means being prepared for one if it happens.
“This video is incredibly important to me on a personal level – I want to do whatever I can to encourage teens with food allergies just like me to stay safe at all times,” Duty said. “I hope teens take this message to heart and help make it go viral!”
Watch and share this video on how Shake it Up’s Kenton Duty doesn’t let his food allergy slow him down — because he’s prepared, every step of the way.
